FAQ
The Answers You Need
What will my puppy come with?
Our puppies are released to their new homes no sooner than 8 weeks of age. At this time, they will have one set of puppy vaccines, a dewormer twice, and microchipped along with their health certificate. They will come with dry puppy food, a new toy, an old toy, a blanket that smells like mom and litter mates, as well as a sample of the pine pellets that we use to litter box train them. If puppies are still available after 8 weeks of age the vaccines and dewormer will stay up to date until they are with their furever families.
What are the cost of the puppies?
The cost of our puppies varies in price. Each of our puppies is raised in our home and requires a great amount of time and dedication to ensure that your puppy is as ready as possible for their transition into your home. If you find a puppy that you are interested in, it is best to contact us directly for their price.
Do you take payment plans?
We offer payment plans prior to picking up your puppy. The initial nonrefundable deposit is due when you decide you want us to hold a puppy for you. You may make payments up until the day you pick up your furever family member. Full payment for your puppy is required at pickup if there is a remaining balance on your payment plan. The initial nonrefundable deposit to hold your puppy is placed toward the total price.
Puppy visitation is by appointment only. We have a strict routine for anyone entering our home to visit the puppies. Everyone that enters must stand in a cleaning solution and then shoe covers will be provided to prevent deadly pathogens from being introduced. Hand sanitizer will also be available and required before and after contact with the puppies. Our puppies', as well as all of our dogs', health and safety are our top priority. These guidelines must be followed before being allowed to see the puppies. Facetime is always welcome and highly recommended.
Are the puppies and parent dogs crated for long periods of time?
Our parent dogs are only crated at night and during extreme weather to keep them protected, warm, and dry. Our puppies stay inside until one week after their first set of vaccinations. At this time they have play time outside on the turfed area of our yard. We do not recommend the puppies being on the actual ground until all four sets of shots have been completed. Our turf is disinfected each day to prevent pathogens from coming into contact with our animals.
Will I be able to come visit the puppies before I take mine home?
Which veterinarian do you use?
We use Hughes Animal Hospital in Malvern, AR. Dr. Hughes and Dr. Brown take great care of all of our animals. The puppies will see Dr. Hughes or Dr. Brown at 5 weeks of age for their initial visit and then again at 12 weeks and 16 weeks if the puppies are still in our care. Puppies start their de-wormer at 3 weeks of age which Hughes Animal Hospital supplies. Puppies will come with a health certificate that has been provided by our vet with their complete vaccination and de-worming history.
